Setting The Scene

Although we’ve looked after many weddings at Nostell Priory over the years we approach everyone as if it was the first. As with all our wedding couples, we personally showed them round the venue and discussed their preferences for their special day. They fell in love with the venue and were keen to make the most of the grounds. Their Dine Event Manager was on hand to help & planning the perfect day with them…

The Day

Although the Bride was a little late(!) the ceremony took place in the stunning Top Hall. The happy couple emerged onto the terrace for initial photos before hosting a Pimms & Sparkling Wine Reception overlooking the vista. The Dine team also served a 3 bite canapé menu to keep guests going whilst the bride & groom explored the Estate for more photos.

They chose a “Lemon Salt Roasted” Chicken as the main course for the wedding breakfast – there wasn’t a single vegetarian but our chef did prepare a special Fillet of Salmon for one lucky guest on request! As evening drew in, Dine lit flaming torches and lanterns along the terrace and Dine’s DJ got everyone on the dancefloor – the party went on until midnight, sustained by bacon & sausage sandwiches!
