Harewood House is the beautiful Yorkshire home of the Earl and Countess of Harewood.

Set in stunning grounds designed by the eighteenth century landscape artist, Capability Brown, it is ideally located between Leeds and Harrogate.

Built in 1772, it is a fine example of neo-classical architecture. The House also boasts one of the most renowned collections of fine art in the country, family portraits by Reynolds, Hoppner and Gainsborough look down from the silk-covered walls of drawing rooms. The Gallery displays Chinese porcelain, Renaissance art and fantastically carved wooden pelmets by Thomas Chippendale.

Harewood offers numerous opportunities for high quality, innovative and impressive entertaining, either in the house itself, the Vistas facility (see below), or in specially constructed marquees within the grounds. The 'Hovels' also offer a very private area within the estate for corporate training days or small informal parties.

Vistas at Harewood

The Vistas Marquee at Harewood is Yorkshire's newest and most evocative event venue, a delightful and different way to enjoy the views and the splendour of this most historic and romantic of settings. Vistas offers all of the advantages of a high-quality permanent venue with the added benefits of individual customisation, completely exclusive and private use of the Vistas marquee and, because of the fact that Dine has made a significant investment in this facility, you can hire it at a fraction of the normal cost.
