Moulin Rouge
Roll up! Roll up! For Moulin Rouge!
Guests were greeted at the family home by stilt walkers and acrobats juggling flaming torches. The team of professional events staff, dressed in flamboyant Moulin Rouge costumes, were on hand to offer guests 'Rouge' Seabreeze Cocktails and Raspberry and Elderflower Spritzers. A Paris Metro station sheltered barmen dispensing rose champagne to passers-by. The Ring Master with his immaculate handlebar moustache was on the prowl to make sure things didn't get too out of hand....

As the guests began to mingle a first course of substantial canapes was presented: Mini Croque Monsieurs and Demitasse of Vichyssoise were offered on plates decorated with feathers, velvet pillows and beads. Garishly coloured quails eggs were dipped in celery salt as the laughter and conversation flowed.

With the party now in full swing the Ring Master ushered guests into a dining room in the shadow of the famous Windmill. Scantily-clad dancing girls strutted and posed on the stage as guests took their seats at tables swathed in crimson crushed velvet and decorated with scarlet flowers and feathers.
Ruby pin-spot lighting on each table glistened on the scarlet glassware and golden charger plates, accentuating the boudoir feel, whilst the shadows gave cover for all sorts of romantic encounters...

The team from the Moulin Rouge were back to serve guests a mouth-watering menu following the substantial canapes:
Main Course
'Poulet Rouge' Thyme & Tomato Pancake Pomodorino Tomatoes & Red Pepper Jus
* * *
Pudding
Windmill of Desserts
Individual Raspberry Creme Brulee Mini Tart Framboise 'Shot' of Chocolate and Cherries Wild Strawberries in a Pink Champagne Jelly
* * *
Coffee & Petits Fours
A 50cm windmill sculpted from chocolate drew the curious invites towards a bar overflowing with a variety of silky smooth chocolate truffles.
When guests were replete the Dancing Girls were back on stage to entertain with a traditional high-kicking 'Can-Can'. And was it really Britney Spears who popped by to entertain the partygoers?

As the dancing continued, a Breakfast Buffet of Bacon and Eggs, Mini Croissants with home-made Jams, and Cappuccinos sustained the revellers into the early hours.
