The Venetian Ball

Guests arrive at a family home and proceed along the dramtically lit driveway, lined with over fifty beautiful flaming torches.

Our authentic Court Footmen helped guests to disembark and the highly professional valet parking team took care of guests' vehicles.

Revellers were then guided through the house where they met some interesting characters on the way; extraordinary individuals in authentic costume on stilts who kept them abreast of all the gossip from Court, preparing them for what was to come...

Having safely navigated their way through the myriad of entertainers in the house, guests came across a beautiful pool surrounded by over 800 candles glinting off the surface of the water and two life sized statues on submerged plinths in the middle of the pool.  Was it the shadows or did those statues occasionally move?

It was within these incredible surroundings that guests enjoyed Bellini's and Champagne -  if they could keep their drinks safe from the mischevious court jesters and acrobats whose antics were entertainment for all !

Guests were then guided down a corridor, lined with handpleated crimson drapes, by the two golden statues which seemed to have had life breathed into them by the merry goings -on and were keen to play their part.

Guests then entered the spectacular Venetian Plaza which would serve as their dining room for the evening. Once they had negotiated the canal, bearing a full size gondola and gondolier (with a surprisingly good voice), they found their way to tables dressed in sumptuous crimson cloths, garnished with glittering gold charger plates.

Guests were attended to by our very professional staff and enjoyed a mouth watering menu of:

Our Table Concierges announced and explained every dish to arrive, in order that guests could glean the utmost pleasure from their dining experience. The table concierges also fulfilled the vital role of Sommelier, happy to go into extra details for those especially interested in the wine their host had chosen.

When the time had come, guests descended into a purpose built nightclub arranged over three levels: While some sought the comfort of the leather lined lounge areas of the middle tier, those who remained on the bottom floor to dance on the Lagoon, could then retreat to more intimate booths to the side while still being able to watch and enjoy the mesmerizing Silks Act, Dancers and Band.
